Just got a new iPhone 6S and switched over all my apps. Everything is working except Garmin USA. Keeps going in a loop and won’t download maps. Please fix ASAP. I’ve had this app for a few years now and really like it. It works well and I have added several of the other in-app extras. Overall, I have had pretty good results with this application.

My original review of this app received 5 stars. But I have no sympathy for a developer who failed to prepare their app for iOS 9 given the enormous lead time and beta testing of the new operating system. Dear Garmin, I suspect that many of us have come to depend on this EXPENSIVE app. There is no excuse for such complete disregard of your customers. Pathetic.

Installed the most recent update and it will still not let me turn off safe mode. Youd better have your route in before you start moving otherwise it will not let you change anything when you are moving

I am sure that Tech Support is working on the fix for using the Contacts in my iPhone. Just reads funny: Garmin cant find My Contacts. Prior to iOS 9+ update, Garmin was working fine.

I just cant believe that a long time GPS company like garmin would have an app that wipes out all your favorites when you do a Map update. This has happened on more than one update. I spend a lot of time setting favorites and adding photo info, only to have it wiped out by their map update. Come on Garmin, you are better than this. Better to use google maps

I experienced the same loop as other reviewers where I couldnt install maps because it said the application had to be restarted. I finally removed and reinstalled the app and was able to successfully install the maps I needed as well as sync my settings from iCloud. Based on UI scaling, this is still not fully compatible with the iPhone 6+

Love Garmin line of products, but since the iPhone upgrade to 6S the app is no longer useable. The maps wont update due to app crash or something.

After canceling the route it still runs in the background and i cant excess my contacts. Fix it!

I used to love this app but recently on my iPhone 6 the Audio refuses to play through the Uconnect bluetooth in my vehicle. Nothing has changed with the vehicle. Audio phone calls and streaming music via Bluetooth both work fine over the vehicle audio system. However when the Garmin app gives directions now it mutes the radio, as it always had, plays nothing but silence for the amount of time it should be giving instructions, and then reverts back to the radio. I have unpaired and re-paired the phone, I checked the the audio output of the app is set to Uconnect, it is set to use blue tooth , it is not muted, and the volume is set tyo max. I have tried toggling all of the above settings and closing and reopenning the app, rebooting the phone etc. Nothing works. I am trying to avoid a full app re-install because I do not want to have to redo my favorites list or upload everything to Garmin. Seriously disappointed. If I knew the thing was going to be this unreliable I would have just used Waze for free.

1) Optimized for iPhone 5, it is not HD, so when used on an iPad, you have to use the x2 function and you get a blurry app that does not use the whole screen but at least you can put it in landscape unlike some other iPhone apps. Since Im using it on my iPad mini, its not too blurry, in other words, it "works" but not ideal 2) Garmin has added Rest Area as a type of POI, however, unlike my nuvi, Ive not yet figured out how to search just along the route so it shows rest areas behind me and on other interstates and roads instead of just whats ahead of me, same for when I want to find a Wendys ahead of me

No new features in a long time. Also, app doesnt work. Never ending loop trying to install maps. Deleted for now.

This navigation tool offer the best traffic tool ever, just this feature worth the price. This app offered everything I need.

When reviewing coordinate locations, longitude information is no longer displayed. Fix it please.

Its ok.. Let you go around, but nothing special, the free gps Apps has more features than this.

Used to worked great until I updated iOS yesterday now the audio directions dont work anymore.

When selecting an address from my contacts the app shuts down. I have to manually insert the address. So annoying . Now I just open my contacts and hit the address and use Apple maps. Dont waste your money. Maybe it will work for you.Who knows. Use the 6S.

I tried the App Support button. IT CRASHED. The old maps worked fine. The new maps crash every time I try to go to Texas. This is a pricey App. It should be easier to send problem reports and get help. I completely removed and reinstalled the app and maps. It still crashes when navigating to Texas. Please help.

Had some bugs on the new iOS ver. But got fixed quick. I take this everywhere, and as a frequent traveler I prefer this over native map apps as it does not use data! (You can download all the maps). In fact I used it in places where I have no cell phone and it works great. Also it will alert you for red light cameras (in their database). If you travel for a living this is a must have app.

Does anyone know if the vehicle integration extra ($50) work with HDMI input in the new Honda vehicles ?

Easy to use, easy to create favorites. Overall, just a good navigation system for your auto.
